1. Intellectual Property
All photographs and text on this site are the sole property of Wendy McNamee and are not to be used without permission. The copyright for the printed course materials provided belongs either to All In A Spin Limited or Argent Hand Spinning. The intellectual property rights for completed or partially completed workbooks belongs to the Learner.
2. Prices
All prices shown are in GBP. Argent Hand Spinning is not registered for VAT and so VAT is not charged.
3. Course/workshop fees
The course fee is payable on booking by BACS, cheque or cash.
4. Part attendance on course
If you book onto a course which takes place over more than one day, no refund will be given for any sessions you do not attend.
5. If you wish to cancel a course/workshop/event booking
A full refund is given if you cancel more than four weeks before the date of the course/workshop/event. Between two and four weeks before the date a 50% refund is given. Less than two weeks before the date no refund is given.
6. Course cancellation by Argent Handspinning
In the unlikely event that Argent Hand Spinning needs to cancel a course/workshop/event due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum course numbers are not met, you will be refunded to the extent of any payment you have made in advance. No further liability is accepted.
7. Health and Safety - Courses/workshops
Workshop participants must abide by all health and safety procedures specified by Argent Hand Spinning.
For courses or workshops involving handling of raw fleece, the learner should ensure that their tetanus vaccination is up to date. Learners must make sure that they wash their hands thoroughly after handling raw fleece.
8. Accredited Courses - Submission of Workbooks and Evidence
Workbooks and evidence must be delivered to Argent Hand Spinning for assessment by the date agreed with the Learner. The Learner is responsible for ensuring the timely arrival of their work. Where a Learner's submitted workbook or evidence does not meet the assessment criteria, it will be referred back to the Learner to be amended and re-submitted for assessment. Argent Hand Spinning will only re-assess referred workbooks or evidence without charge once. Further assessments will be charged based on the hours needed to carry out the assessment.
9. Return of Accredited Workbooks and Evidence
Workbooks and evidence will be available to be collected by the Learner as soon as practical following the completion of the assessment process. Rarely, this may take a few months if Agored Cymru wishes to review the work. The Learner is responsible for the collection of their workbook and evidence. If Argent Hand Spinning is requested to return the workbook and evidence, this will be done at the Learner's cost.
